I'm a little crazy

Hi All,

I'm a little crazy, and I've been working on embedding flash video being streamed from my second server.
It's all Sci Fi/Lunatic stuff at the moment, but I'm getting there.

I've redesigned the Ariana videos page with all of the videos embedded. The vids are pretty low res as we did collect most of these videos over a decade ago. Just wondering if a few of you could try watching a few of the videos on there to see how well they stream across for you?

The server the video is getting fed from seems a bit picky, so I'm curious to see it get some load, and see if it actually copes.

Please feel free to provide feedback in this thread. Things I play around with on the SFL sites usually seem to migrate here at some point (no promises on this one), but I can think of uses for it... Feedback from Mac users also welcome - saves me needing to fire up mine

I'd love to get some higher res vids... those vids are so old its not funny. Thinking about having a crack at doing some grabs from Angus and Tremors 3.
I'm just more concerned at the moment how the video playback is, and how the server they're coming from is actually performing.

OK... going with the crazy theme here, I've just made a few new video files from Angus.
I think these will be the first digital sourced videos on SFL for it - everything in the past would have been taken from VHS.

They'll be uploaded by the weekend at this stage - I'm still in the process of converting them to an appropriate format to embed, and I'll need to setup a dedicated Angus page. I may even get tempted to do some of the stuff that we don't actually have at all....



Actually.. there are 11 new vids... most of them are extended versions of what's there, plus a couple of other scenes. And of course, higher resolution (though I do set the streaming to 320x240)

I should probably take some new caps for the Media Center as well. A job for another day perhaps.
